about

This track was commissioned by Linda to her husband, Scott (aka ExScott-Tico). The couple loves their other home in Costa Rica and Scott loves Django Reinhardt and swing and all things related. Scott is also a biology teacher!

lyrics

Here's a little piece of one man's history.
He can teach you something about Biology
If the music swings,
You know his foot's tappin.
He's the kinda guy that,
Can make things happen.

In the Chiricahuas,
Encountered some danger.
Saw a car demolished,
by a very large stranger.
You know he did the smart thing,
and hightailed to safety,
NOT before a pause to clarify "That's not a grizzly."

mighta told a white lie,
saying he's retired.
Might have a house in Bisbee,
Might've been a fire.
Whem he's in Costa Rica,
He kinda feels exotic.
Seem him take the floor inside the club and teach you something bout ROBOTIC!

Went looking for a few birds,
to get 'em documented.
Till he saw his true bird,
His future was cemented.

Took more than 24 "Jack",
But he would count the hours,
Until he popped the question among the Savegre flowers.
